Albanian Premier Edi Rama announced today his government will allow the cultivation of cannabis for medicinal purposes.

He introduced the results of a National Consultation, where 61% of the participants were in favor of the legalization for medicinal purposes.

Rama evaluated the process as positive and promised that the Council of Ministers will turn the citizens’ opinion into an executive plan.
