Albanian Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja said the Albanian government will continue to join the Western sanctions against Russia following the aggression against Ukraine but he had no knowledge about possible assets of Russian oligarch in Albania. Manjaj also said the government doesn’t have a list of Russian oligarchs to check if they have assets in the country.

“Albania has condemned from the beginning the Russian invasion in Ukraine and has put forward sanctions in the framework or our international obligations. This is a process performed by the ministry in close cooperation with our allies”, Manja said. “If there will be a list of persons declared as supporters of the Russian aggression, we will commit to our obligations”.
