Former Albanian Premier Sali Berisha spoke about the waste incinerators issued in an electoral meeting in Maqellara, district of Dibra.

“As you already know, €420 million have been given for three incinerators, but none of them is functioning today. What happened? Sacks of money were stolen! One cannot take hundreds of millions of Euros from the state budget without the permission of the Prime Minister. He is the guardian”, Berisha told the audience.

“They shut the inquiry commission a month ago and when I denounced them in the parliament they were forced to restore it only for an internal fight against one another”.

Berisha also said the Democrats will not allow the construction of the Skavica hydropower plant that will flood Dibra’s lands.

“This region will never be flooded. It will remain as God made it. They must forget about flooding even a handful of land. I tell them to renounce their plans, Dibra won’t be flooded. Dibra resisted to the enemies heroically, Edi Rama is nothing in comparison”, Berisha said.
