Albanian Premier Edi Rama washed his hands of former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri which he protected by all means in the recent years trying to rescue him from a punishment. Despite Rama’s efforts, Tahiri was sentenced with 3 years and 4 months in prison on Friday over charges of abuse of office. Asked by media reporters about his “most successful minister”, as he used to call Tahiri, Rama responded by saying he never comments on the courts’ rulings.
“I never comment the courts’ rulings. I knew what I was doing when I led the justice reform. Even if I turned back 100 times I would do the same thing, but we’re here to talk about another issue”, said Rama, reminding that the conference was about the Ukraine crisis.

Ate vendim nuk e mori gjykata, por e more ti o drogaxhi, 3 dite perpara, tek lokali i Tahirit në Vishnje. Gjykata thjesht e lexoi zyrtarisht e publikisht vendimin qe ishit dakordesuar te dy në menyre mafioze. Nuk u hidhni dot hi syve te shqiptareve! Budallenjve qorra te Rilindjes, ndoshta.
Rama paska thene se nuk i komenton vendimet e gjykatave. Po ate gjygjtaren qe dha masen e sigurise per pallatet te Garda, pse e komentoi Rama. Jo vetem e komentoi por pas pak ditesh vetingu e perjashtoi nga radhet e drejtesise.
