Former Albanian Premier Sali Berisha called for self restraint in the protest that is taking place at the Democratic Party headquarters, where members have rallied to oust from the offices the former chairman Lulzim Basha whom they dismissed through a referendum in December 1.

“I’d like to invite the Democrats that today are changing the bunker of Basha the Hostage into the House of Freedom to show restraint and determination in our goals”, Berisha said.

"The hostage Basha is dismissed. I call for self restraint. If the police intervene, it is Edi Rama’s intervention”.
