Democratic Party MP Tritan Shehu required an interpellation with Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu today about the strategy of the vaccination against Covid-19. Shehu called for massive vaccination, but said the Russian and Chinese vaccines should not be administered because they are unsafe and uncertified by EMA.

“The strategy of the vaccination is one of the most important parts of dealing Covid-19 to minimize loss of lives, social consequences, and economic damage”, Shehu said.

“Unfortunately, our country, during the entire pandemic did not have an actual or transparent strategy. There are no set objectives, but only improvisations, which is a lack of professionalism. The Prime Minister and the Committee of Experts promised only safe vaccines would be used in Albania but you have filled the country with uncertified and unsafe Chinese vaccines”.
