The Albanian opposition parties met today to talk about the economic situation in the country, all sharing the concern that the economic pandemic is taking Albania economy towards a collapse. The government is not helping the citizens and is going towards an even deeper crisis.

Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha informed the opposition allies about the concerns and requests presented to him during the meetings he had recently with business representatives.

“The government has abandoned them, does not listen to them, doesn’t care about their concerns and problems. It’s our duty to be not only their voice, but also to re-dimension our plan for the economic salvation, for saving jobs, considering the consequences of the crisis”, Basha said.

The opposition blamed Edi Rama’s government for bad management of the crisis harming the citizens. The parties agreed to expand the action through daily meetings countrywide.

“Edi Rama does not think about Albanians, but for his chair. He crushed the poor and destroyed the middle class. It’s our responsibility to be close to them”, the Democrat chief told the opposition table.
