Albanian President Ilir Meta expressed his solidarity to doctors and nurses that are fighting against the coronavirus and wished a quick recovery to the director of Urgjenca Kombëtar (National Emergency) Dr Skënder Brataj, who resulted positive after taking the test.

“I'd like to express my solidarity to his family in these hard moments, being faithful he will rejoin his team of doctors in the front line against the pandemic #COVID19”, the President wrote.

He added it is of utmost importance and a priority to strengthen the protective measures for all the doctors, nurses, sanitary and back up personnel, which are exposed to a great danger.
