Albanian President Ilir Meta has called the people to gather against Premier Edi Rama’s conctitutional coup d’état in Tirana’s main boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit”.

"We will consider calmly the full disbanding of the coup d’état”, Meta said in a video message. “What will be the President’s acts? Always in defense of the Constitution!”

“Be sure that this edifice, this institution is today is fortress, a single one unfortunately, but still invincible and unconquerable in the defense of democracy. On March 2, the first decree against the coup d’état will be signed in front of the Albanian people, at the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit", where we will make a covenant to defeat for good the regime of the oligarchs and Mafiosi, of the international mob that has violated the national sovereignty aiming the depopulation of this country and its transformation into a money laundry center, into a hub of the national and international organized crime, and of many other problem in the Balkans”.

“So, on March 2, we expect you all in the boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit” and we promise that soon, thanks to the Albanian people, there won’t be only one institution, that is the President, defending the Republic, the national and public interest, but all the institutions in the boulevard “Dëshmorët e Kombit” will return to the Albanian people.
