The Albanian Parliament passed with 100 votes pro and 7 against, while two MPs abstained, the Resolution of the Socialist Party to declare void the President Ilir Meta’s decree for the postponement of the local elections scheduled for June 30.
Showing full loyalty to Albanian Premier Edi Rama, the Socialist MPs, to which added the MPs of the so-called “new opposition” voted in favor of the Resolution, giving the possibility to the Socialist majority to pass with the constitutional quorum of 2/3 of votes the no-confidence motion to oust the President of the Republic.
The tens of MPs bought by Premier Rama showed their loyalty for the “favor” he did them.
