A European Albania governed by the youth is the mission of Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha as he said today in a meeting with 300 representatives of EDS, European Democrat Students, the pan-European centre-right student and youth political association, and the official student organization of the European People's Party.

Basha introduced the students with the political crisis in Albania and the situation of the Albanian students.

“We’ll give an end to this situation not only because we are the party that was founded by the students (in December 1990) but also because we cannot have a European Albania without educated youth. That’s why the Democratic Party has set the higher education as its priority, planning to double the budget and make possible that no youth remain unschooled due to poor economic conditions”, Basha said, asking for help in his mission “because it is a road full of challenges, but the only one that leads us to Europe”.
