Albanian Premier Edi Rama tried to reach to the students that are protesting for the seventh day through a live stream on his Facebook page, inviting them for dialogue. However, the students responded in chorus with calls addressed to him to meet their demands for reduced tuition fees.
Rama said the opposition parties are trying to take over the protest. One of the students said “it’s convenient only for you to have the political parties in the protest, we have a pure soul”.
“If someone is trying to divide our protest, that someone is only you Prime Minister, by accusing unjustly the Democratic Party and the Socialist Movement for Integration. Forget about dividing the students. The united students will win”, a young man said in the rally.
A young woman took the floor later, saying “stop the BS Mr. Prime Minister, sign our demands”.
