Teargas was thrown at protesters at the Democratic Party headquarters and many of them were violated by dismissed chairman Lulzim Basha’s mercenaries.

Police forces are deployed at the place, but the Albanian State Police said in a statement they have not used teargas against the protesters.

"We’d like to clarify the public opinion that none of the State Police structures engaged to guarantee security and order has been involved in action and haven’t thrown any unlawful objects either in the Democratic Party headquarters during the protest that is taking place”, the Police said.
