Nearly 400 citizens in Kruja have been poisoned in the last three days and signs point to contaminated water from the city’s water supply system.

The Prosecution Office has opened an investigation for pollution of the air and water. Sources from Kruja Police Department said there are two deposits of drinkable water that have mixed with the sewage pipes.

Citizens have been admitted to the hospital and have been released shortly after.
