The Court of Appellation has left in prison for 30 days Ilir Sketiraj, the man who threw his shoe at Premier Edi Rama outside the Military Hospital in Tirana where he visited the policewoman Ina Nuka and other police effectives injured in the protest of the Astir area residents in front of the parliament.

A few days ago, the Court of Tirana decided to keep Sketiraj in custody for 30 days, which was confirmed by the Appellation.

The defendant said he had been in a coffee house away from the rally and invited the prosecutor to watch the footage from the security cameras.
