The Democratic Party has protested against the decision of the Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruçi to carry out behind closed doors the interrupted meeting of the Council of the Regulation which is discussing the case of lifting the immunity of deputy Saimir Tahiri.

The Democrat MP Enkelejd Alibeaj said "Chairman of the Council, Ruçi, does not allow the media reporters to come in. the meeting of the Commission is based on a regulation. Mr. Ruçi put it on vote and received five votes out of ten, so, not the majority”.

“This is the most delicate thing Albanians want to know and not it’s happening that the Majority and Edi Rama, in full agreement with Saimir Tahiri, want to leave them in the dark. But, under the light of the presented evidence, the devils have left the bottle and they do not want to turn back in”.
