Former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri will go to testify in the Prosecution Office, sources from the accusation organ said.

It is understood Tahiri will testify about the latest developments in Italy, where his cousin Moisi Habilaj has been arrested for drugs trafficking. The Italian media have published extracts from the wiretap transcripts, where Habilaj mentions Tahiri’s name.

Sources said Tahiri has offered himself to testify in the Prosecution Office about what has been written today and accusations against him.
