The Municipality of Tirana is in action to eliminate evidence of a secret meeting between disgraced former chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha and head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group Taulant Balla. The two were caught on camera entering the same condominium building last December. Effectives of the municipal police have gone to the building and have requested the immediate removal of the security camera from the administrator.

Soon after the video was shown on Syri TV, Basha was quick to say it was a montage, but Balla inadvertently confirmed it later, saying the meeting was merely a coincidence.

Inspectors of the municipality have also gone to the building under the pretext of controlling its maintenance, but removed the cameras that recorded Basha and Balla.
