Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha thanked NATO after the Alliance rejected the project of Edi Rama’s government for the new commercial port of Durrës.

Rama tried to pull the North Atlantic Alliance too in one of the biggest corruptive affairs ever in the country.

“I am here to thank gratefully the North Atlantic Alliance for rejecting Edi Rama’s efforts to deceive the Alliance and drag it into the corruptive Rama-Alabbar mega affair for the port of Durrës”, said Berisha.

“The visits to the (NATO) headquarters of Edi Rama, (Defense Minister) Xhaçka, and of the President to obtain (NATO’s) support for the closure of the port of Durrës and its transformation de facto into multibillion wealth of Edi Rama and his Mafioso clan, among the most dangerous in Europe, constitute a shameful story. They constitute a monstrous effort to cover with the Alliance’s attire a terrible robbery of the Albanians’ public asset”.

“In any other country, the Head of State would have summoned the Council of the National Security and would have nailed the head of the government for this criminal affair with the intention of becoming a billionaire with the public assets of the Albanians, threatening Albania’s and NATO’s security”.
