Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha denounced today what he called Albanian Premier Edi Rama’s “digital terror” on the employees of the state administration and called for the intervention of Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter’s Elon Musk. Speaking in his weekly press conference, Berisha said a “digital terror app” has been spread during the last week with the function of counting and registering the likes in the social media.

“This absurd decision was taken from Edi Rama after he saw himself totally surpassed by Sali Berisha in the digital world”, Berisha said.

“Despite the purchases with tens of thousands of Euros of ‘likes’ and fake accounts, he makes an unimaginable step by forcing the administration employees to like his posts and counts the likes through the app”.

“I’d like to appeal to Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk to punish such a practice of abuse in the social media from a person that has no principles, that terrorizes the ordinary staff”.

Berisha added the Democratic Party will consider an international trial against Edi Rama with the intention of protecting the Albanian citizens.
