Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani inspected the Kosovo Security Forces (FSK) today, wearing a military uniform and saying FSK is ready and prepared for any situation as tensions rise in north of the country.

Osmani said the soldiers’ oath to defend the country is more sacred than anything else.

“We must be aware the challenges will grow parallelly with the authoritarian regimes’ efforts to challenge world peace and order. That’s why readiness, dedication and commitment to the country are needed in order to become guardians of the Republic”, President Osmani said in her address to the Kosovo military.

“Your readiness to defend the country from every danger makes us all proud. It’s an honor and privilege for me to be among you. Our women and men are ready to defend the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our nation”.
