Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta said today the so-called Socialist Renaissance is just a sect and Premier Edi Rama captured the state when he captured former Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha.

Speaking to supporters in Kuçovë, Meta blamed the government for not increasing teachers' salaries and spending all the investment funds for concessions and “golden” roads.

The former President made a distinction between the Socialist Party base and its governance that was baptized as Rilindja (The Renaissance) from Rama.

 “We are not against the Socialists, I’m only talking about Rilindja, because it is a sect that has usurped everything, the first one it usurped was the Socialist Party. Then he went on to capture the state, which is 100% captured today. They captured the state by capturing Lulush”, said Meta, using a diminishing nickname for Lulzim Basha.

Meta said Rama is “drinking the Albanian children’s blood”, always trying to find “misfortunes” to justify the state of the country.

As he called Rama “Albania’s most irresponsible clown”, Meta said the Prime Minister’s polls always show good results for him because he makes them himself.

“A bomb is upon us as long as we have him ruling, this country couldn’t have a bigger misrotune”, said Meta. “The Renaissance’s mission is the country’s depopulation, impoverishment, and destruction. Rama is an hostage and vassal of the biggest anti-Albanian circles”.
