Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta wrote today the sky-high prices in Albania are deepening poverty in the country.

The former President criticized the arrogance of the government that is not helping the family consumers with social and economic policies.

“Soaring prices are deepening poverty by seriously threatening family budgets. The consumers expect another record increase in prices, whereas the government has not provided any measures to help them. Non-reaction to speculative prices is not in line with the public interest. The citizens deserve a responsible government that adopts economic policies only in their interest”, wrote Meta.
