The opposition coalition said in a press release that a broad-based caretaker cabinet is the only solution for free and fair elections. It confirmed the decision not to register as an electoral subject in the Central Electoral Commission (KQZ) up to the creation of the caretaker cabinet.

“The parties of the opposition coalition, witnessing the deep political crisis in the country, the threat to the elections from the crime in power, drugs, dirty money; and all administration structures putting themselves at the disposal of the campaign of the government parties, repeat unanimously the decision that was proclaimed in February 18 that a broad-based caretaker government is the only solution guarantee free and fair elections; to implement the Law of Decriminalization, fight efficaciously the drug traffic, organized crime and dirty money”, it is said in the opposition press release.

“The parties of the opposition coalition confirm unanimously the decision not to register as an electoral subject unless an agreement for creation of a broad-based caretaker cabinet is reached”.
