The Democratic Party MPs signed and deposited in the Albanian parliament the Resolution against the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.

The Resolution, which was anticipated by MP Tritan Shehu will be debated in the parliament. It requests from the Albanian government to declare January 15 as a Memorial Day for the Massacre of Reçak.

This is the second Resolution on the Serbian genocide the Albanian opposition proposed to the Parliament. The Socialist majority refused the first one, the Resolution on the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica, Bosnia Herzegovina.
