The election for the new chair of the Democratic Party will be held on May 22. The announcement was made by MP Belind Këlliçi during the National Assembly today.

Up to that date, the Commission for the Refounding of the Democratic Party will be the leading organ. Meanwhile, the Commission decided to dismiss the acting chairman Enkelejd Alibeaj, appointed by former chairman Lulzim Basha before his resignation.
