The historic leader of the Albanian Democrats Sali Berisha responded to Premier Edi Rama’s declaration that the Socialist majority will interrupt every rapport with the opposition if it chooses to be led by the former Premier that was declared non grata by the United States.

Berisha said such a declaration shows Rama is afraid of the real opposition.

“Rama proves that he is terrified of the real opposition. I said already a week ago. He is terrified and is in denial. He is afraid and panicked of Sali Berisha”, he said.

Earlier, Rama said in the parliament: “We have no business with Sali. Sali for us is dead politically and institutionally; biologically we wish him a long life. Do not mess us up with the dead man in the middle of the house. If you choose to be led by a dead man, we will interrupt every rapport”.
