Democratic Party MP Edi Paloka accused head of the Democrat parliamentary group Enkelejd Alibeaj of continuing Premier Edi Rama’s agenda against the opposition.

“Unfortunately this is a group meeting that is chaired by someone that continues with the agenda of the Socialist Party congress”, Paloka told media reporters today. “Enkelejd Alibeaj comes and starts the parliamentary group meeting with Edi Rama’s agenda. I don’t know we can talk about unification when Alibeaj starts the meeting speaking about expelled MPs”.

“He has violated all the parameters, Enkelejd Alibeaj has been dismissed by the Democrat Assembly of December 11. We accepted him only not to create a divisive atmosphere. We accepted Alibeaj with the intention of unifying everything that was destroyed by Lulzim Basha. The Democratic Party is run by the Commission for the Refoundation”.

Alibeaj was appointed acting chairman of the Democratic Party by former disgraced chairman Lulzim Basha before stepping down last month.
