The historic leader of the Albanian Democrats and former Premier Sali Berisha commented the criticism of his declarations about US Ambassador Yuri Kim from an official of the US Department of State.

“I am quite clear and have the outmost respect for the Ambassador when she acts as a representative of President Joe Biden, but I cannot concur when she acts like a governor”, said Berisha.

“Every time someone will act in violation of the Vienna Conventions, I will object and denounce”.

“The US policy in Tirana intends support for this country. I do not agree with the governor’s attitudes and her continuous support for Edi Rama’s government, and her genuine anti-opposition acts. Albanians should be loyal partners to the United States, but as free citizens that decide with their free votes”.
