Albanian citizens have returned to the street protests against the high prices of fuel and food. Protesting outside the prime ministry in the capital Tirana, the citizens said their requests are unchangeable and they will continue to take the streets until the government responds.

Meanwhile, noted lawyer and human rights activist Altin Goxhaj said the protests have been sabotaged from persons that are linked to US progressive billionaire George Soros.

"I believe the protests outside the prime minister have been sabotaged from inside, from four inside persons that had the control of the loudspeaker as administration of the protest and used the microphone the same way those that create avalanches use the mountains”, Goxhaj said for Syri TV today, adding that they are Soros’ men.

“Once there was a very proper protest slogan, ‘We are not poor but stolen’, now it has turned into ‘Lower the price a little; raise my social aid a bit’, so it’s turned into asking for alms”

Goxhaj also named the persons he said are Soros’ men and sabotaged the protest.

“The first day, the person we saw as administrator of the microphone was Mirgen Qiraxhiu who has a banking account financed by Soros. Now the question is: When this government is backed by Soros, when (Premier) Edi Rama is one of Soros’ closest men, how could we pretend that the one that holds the microphone and is paid by Soros would care for the protests? It is Mirgen Qiraxhiu, Rigels Xhemollari, and behind them, since 12 years, has been standing Endri Shabani of Nisma Thurje (The Hashtag Initiative)”, Goxhaj said.
