Former Albanian Premier and historic leader of the Albanian Democrats Sali Berisha predicted snap elections in the country. Berisha spoke in an electoral meeting in Ishëm, Durrës, supporting the mayoral candidate of the opposition coalition House of Freedom.

Addressing to the residents, Berisha said the March 6 mayoral by-elections are very important and invited them to vote for the House of Freedom candidate, because, in doing so, they would cut off Edi Rama’s government’s days.

"March 6 is a great day, of national importance. Your votes must turn into a message of hope for all Abanians”, Berisha said. “My appeal is to vote the candidates of the House of Freedom because like that, all together, we will shorten the days of Edi Rama’s government and will approach the general elections and go towards victory”.
