Albanian President Ilir Meta made a strong declaration on Çim Peka Live on Syri TV, saying he has been eavesdropped by domestic and foreign intelligence agencies.

Meta made the declaration speaking about the local elections of June 30, 2019.

“I was in a plane and called (then Parliament Speaker) Ruçi for the annulment of the local elections of June 30. I didn’t have time for a multilateral meeting and thought to discuss it with Ruçi”, Meta said.

“Of course, I did not say everything, because our phones are wiretapped. Wiretapped by all, domestic and foreign (agencies). But I have no problem with that. I am proud I have nothing to hide”.
