Debates between the Socialist majority and the opposition prevailed in the meeting of the Legislation Council and the Commission for Legal Affairs, Public Affairs, and Human Rights. After many arguments, the opposition abandoned the session.

Secretary General of the Democratic Party Gazment Bardhi said the vetting is not a technicality but a fundamental issue. Speaking to Speaker Lindita Nikolla, also chairwoman of the commission, Bardhi said they are blowing up the political dialogue. The meeting is continuously being postponed, offering no solutions, despite the offer of cooperation from the Democratic Party. Nikolla decided to postpone the meeting to Friday.
