Albanian Premier Edi Rama has attacked the opposition and the media amid the fear of possible spread the coronavirus in the country.

Rama tweeted that “coronavirus cannot be fought with politics, neither with all-knowing”, ridiculing yesterday’s meeting of Democratic Party Chairman Lulzim Basha with experts of health. He attacked the media too for the news reports regarding the situation, which the government chief does not like.

Rama tweeted the government is doing everything to deal with a possible outbreak, but “unfortunately this country, in every difficulty, natural disaster, or health emergency, must also face the other big misfortune of the channels and news portals where ignorance, evilness, laziness, greed and rascality flourish and in such cases become inhumane”.

“At the lead of all the scoundrels and parasites that are unleashed to the public in need for information are, as always, the politicians of evil, which want chaos, confusion, despair, in their desperate efforts to return the past that has swept them away for good”.
