The Democratic Party (PD) declared today it condemns the government’s growth of violence against the political adversaries and the opposition representatives.

An amount of TNT exploded at midnight at the door of the house of deputy mayor of Kamza, Vendim Demaj. Luckily, he and his family were not there when the explosive set off. The state police have been hiding the serious incident and have offered no information about the authors.

“The Municipality of Kamza has been since long under verbal attacks of Premier Edi Rama and other structures of the government”, PD said in a press release.

“However, setting off explosives at the residence of the deputy mayor is an escalation of the aggression against the political opponents of Edi Rama’s regime. Hiding the incident by police does not contribute to the return of tranquility in Kamza, it only grows the mistrust of the citizens in the police forces”.

“The Democratic Party of Albania will hold Edi Rama responsible for every violence and aggression act against its political representatives”.
