A tragic road accident took place in the early hours of the morning in Bulgaria causing the deaths of at least 45 citizens from the North Macedonia and injuries of at seven others. Most of the victims traveling in the bus are Albanians of North Macedonia.

Director General of the Bulgarian State Police Stanimir Stanev told Deutsche Welle 52 persons were traveling in the bus that caught fire. He said the 50 passengers were Albanians whereas the two drivers were Macedonian.
