The Democratic Party of Albania (PD) has announced the delivery of documents that is believed to prove a further implication of former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri in international drugs trafficking. Tahiri is under investigation over implication in drugs traffic following the arrest in Italy of his cousin Moisi Habilaj, chief of a criminal organization that smuggled drugs from Albania to Italy.

“(Democrat deputy) Enkelejd Alibeaj will be at the Prosecution for Serious Crimes today at 10:45. Later, around 11:00, he will release a media statement related to Tahiri’s case”, the official announcement of PD said.
