Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha made a strong declaration on Monday evening saying his phone, during his stint as Prime Minister, had been tapped following an order by then-US President Barack Obama.

Speaking to Top Story on the television Top Channel, Berisha said Obama had ordered the wiretapping of 125 prime ministers and head of states around the world and Berisha’s name was also in the list.

“My phone was bugged by Barack Obama. He had ordered the wiretapping of 125 prime ministers and my name was in the list”, he said.
