Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha made a very strong accusation in the parliament today against Albanian Premier Edi Rama saying he blocked the negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia in 2013 that would lead to the recognition o Kosovo. Berisha said the Albanian government is bearing the flag of Belgrade.

“Quite suddenly, in 2013, Edi Rama ran impatiently towards Belgrade. In 2010-2013 there was an intensive process of negotiations between Pristina and Belgrade as equal parties. Edi Rama put himself at the service of his master in Belgrade and did everything to block that process that progressed to the point of the agreement that sanctioned an indirect recognition between the two countries”, said the former Prime Minister Berisha. “Albania refused to interfere in the negotiations process. It was the position that strengthened more than any other position the representation of Kosovo from its own government”.

“Edi Rama, with his travel to Belgrade, overthrew that rapport. He divided the political class and backed Soros’ project for borders’ changes and undoing the independent Kosovo”.

“Albania focused its potential towards Belgrade instead of Brussels. After failing with the land swap project, Edi Rama, as a vassal of Vučić that he is, presented the Open Balkans project. Remember, after the treacherous signature on the alliance that Vučić called ‘Yugoslavia plus Albania’, they introduced a map where Kosovo did not exist. He wandered with the maps like a real witch, like a Macbeth of the Albanian cause and opposed the Open Balkans project to the Berlin Process”.
