Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta said today he will be very active in the citizens’ protests outside the parliament. The former President of Albania does not have an MP mandate as he was Head of State until July, so he cannot make opposition in the parliament sessions, but he said he will be there with the citizens.

“As Freedom Party chairman I will be continuously outside the parliament along with the citizens that feel unrepresented by a parliament with stolen votes. As a result, LSI (today the Freedom Party) was the most damaged force with only four mandates instead of 12 it should have. Our strength is in the streets, with the people”, Meta said in a press conference today.
