Freedom Party Chairman Ilir Meta repeated his objection to the Open Balkans Initiative of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and supported by Albanian Premier Edi Rama, saying it is a nontransparent and divisive initiative, and as such it can bring only negative effects.

The former President of Albania set the focus on the Berlin Process, appealing to all the countries of the region to support as the most effective path to their common goals.

“Any nontransparent and divisive initiative that serves to a country’s domination over the others in the region can have only negative effects. The Berlin Process must be supported by all the countries of the region as the most effective path to reach the common European goals”, Meta wrote on his facebook page.
