Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha appealed to Albanian citizens to join the opposition protests and force the government’s departure as soon as possible.

He considered Rama as the worst Prime Minister Albania has ever had.

“Unless we make this government leave as soon as possible, in our next meeting we will complain even more”, Berisha addressed to the audience in a meeting with farmers. “That’s why we must all rise. There are tens of thousands of businesses that are going bankrupt, closing shops. There is only one way out: protests and only protests, to make them leave. This is a government that ignores the Albanian citizens”.

“This country has never had a worse Prime Minister than this person. In addition to lying every day, in addition to showing cynicism and snub, he lacks the most elementary knowledge in any given field. He says the agriculture is doing very well, the agriculture is benefiting from the Open Balkans, tourism is perfect, when tourism is in a really dark place. The public order is excellent he says, when there are murders every day”.

Berisha said the Albanians must rise because “we are all in great danger”. “We are in actual existential danger, a nation from which 744,000 citizens have left in six years”.
