Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha commemorated today the victims of the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica 27 years ago. Berisha wrote he condemns strongly the barbarism of the Serbian troops that committed genocide.

“Today is the day of honoring the victims of the Serbian barbarism and genocide in Srebrenica”, wrote Berisha.

“27 years ago, Serbian militia and armed forces in Bosnia Herzegovina, along with pre-military and police units from Serbia, under the command of the infamous General Ratko Mladic, murdered and massacred 8,000 men and children in the most terrible post World War 2 genocide, only because the belonged to another religion.

Expressing my deepest honor to the victims of the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica, I condemn strongly the macabre act of the forces that committed this terrible barbarism.

I also condemn the attitude of the current Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić who, with his call “for every killed Serbian will be murdered 100 Muslims”, set in motion the Srebrenica genocide and has his place in the defendants’ bench in the International Court in The Hague”.
