Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha said today the opposition’s protest will stop only when and after having achieved their main goal, which is Premier Edi Rama’s departure from power.

“The protest has its own scenario. It is important for us to send our strong message that the Albanians will no longer tolerate this regime that does not deserve to exist even a single day”, said Berisha.

Asked whether tonight’s protest will be followed by others, Berisha promised they will go on: “Today is the protest that kicks off the process of Edi Rama’s departure from power, which means that the protests will stop only when their big goal has been achieved”.
