Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed to the Albania Parliament today through a video message, thanking the Albanian people for the support in the fight against the Russian aggression. But Zelensky also criticized Albanian Premier Edi Rama when he said that Albania is still allowing Russian ships and tourists.

“Thank you for the concrete steps for Ukraine against Russia, for the care you are showing to our people and children there. Your attitude reminds us of Mother Theresa, the Albanian that turned into a symbol of humanity in the whole world. I believe that together we’ll be able to stop this war and protect Europe from other wars in the future”, said Zelensky.

"The Russian banks must be separated from the global markets. You must deny the opportunity to Russia in the due time. I request from you to restrict your ports to Russian ships and restrict the arrival of Russian tourists, maybe the murderers of Bucha and the executors of Mariupol and Irpin are going there. Let’s do a principle thing and ban the use of United Nations funds for Russia”.

A few days earlier, Premier Rama said he did not intend to restrict the arrival of Russian tourists. Asked whether he needed to review his decision, Rama rejected it with arrogance: “No, I don’t think so. Let’s go with the next question!”

As of May 1, Russian citizens are not requested an entrance visa to enter Albania.
