Former Albanian Premier Sali Berisha warned the government the Democratic Party will lead the massive protests against the soaring prices of food and fuels in the country. Berisha spoke in the first press conference after his return to the Democratic Party headquarters. He called for the unification of all Democrats, saying the party’s battle is with Premier Edi Rama because the country is getting ruined every day.

“There was a wave of protests. The people are expecting from the next wave and are waiting to be led by the Democratic Party. Let him (Rama) say whatever he wants”, said Berisha.
