Albanian Premier Edi Rama has been called in an interpellation by the parliament on Thursday concerning the increase of prices and the government measures to face them.

Nine opposition MPs have requested explanations from Rama about three important issues that have to do with the aid package for overcoming the crisis, the state of material reserves, and the state of fuel reserves.

The request for interpellation was deposited a week ago but it was rejected by the Socialist majority claiming there was not enough time to be included in the agenda. However, Rama will not be present in the parliament session because he will participate in NATO’s Summit in Brussels.
