Head of the Democratic Party National Council Edi Paloka addressed to discharged chairman Lulzim Basha with a post on his Facebook page. Paloka asked Basha if he really thinks he can stay as chairman of the party with the support of Socialist Premier Edi Rama and foreign ambassadors accredited to the country.

“Had you been so much committed to protect the votes and denounce ‘the electoral massacre’ as you are committed to protect your chair and seal, you would have done at least a service to the Democrats!

Are you seriously thinking you may stay at the lead of the Democrats with the help of Rama’s police and of the ambassadors when the Democrats have already discharged you? Perhaps you find it convenient to have a party-association in opposition so that’s why you fight so hard for the party seal, but how could this be accepted by those Democrats that for eight years have been under Rama’s violence and persecution?! Now you’re fighting to keep the seal because you have found the excuse already for the next defeat: ‘It’s still Sali Berisha’s fault’”.
