Historic leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha reconfirmed the Correctional Court of Paris has accepted his lawsuit against US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who banned him and his family members from entering the United States, last May. Berisha also said his friends have confessed to him that his file in the Department of State has no facts or proof to back the allegations of “significant corruption”.

Ever since Blinken sanctioned him on the grounds of significant corruption, Berisha has asked repeatedly from the Department of State to present evidence and facts to support the decision. However, nothing has been offered by the Department or Secretary Blinken so far.

The Washington Times asked the Department of State for evidence against Berisha, but DOS responded only saying they have “credible information”, non mentioning facts and proof.

This is the opposite of US Ambassador to Albania Yuri Kim’s statement of October 15, when she said the Department of State has “undeniable proof”.

Also, after Blinken’s decision in May, the Department of Sate said they had received information for Berisha from NGOs.
