Kastriot Islami, a former Speaker of the Albanian parliament, and former MP with both the Socialist and Democratic Party, has mocked Albanian Premier Edi Rama’s endorsement of Milo Djukanovic in the Montenegrin elections. Djukanovic leads with a slim margin and Islami writes defeat follows anywhere Rama goes.

“To the surprise of many, Rama endorsed Milo Djukanovic instead of the Albanian parties. But, from the first results, it seems like Djukanovic’s party and its allies have won so far 40 out of 81 seats in the parliament of Montenegro. Very likely it will be in opposition for the first time ever since the establishment of the pluralism”, Islami wrote.
